Weekly COVID Update:

Dr. Hasselback (Medical Health Officer has let us know that our numbers have soothed a bit! We are seeing a more steady influx rather than the sudden firehouse we started with. This means that our changes are making a difference!

We have had some of our local senior care homes on the suspected outbreak list. This means that the home has been exposed to a COVID case but there has not been a demonstrated spread within the home. These are the populations we must protect. We must also protect our neighbours who are workers going into these care homes and the family and children they care for within their own walls. We need to continue to work together so that the ripples don’t reach our vulnerable.

Thank you to everyone who has provide support to their neighbors, their families, and to our local businesses, organizations and leaders! We have all felt you holding us up and we can’t say enough in appreciation. This truly is an amazing area to serve in.
