On Tuesday June 20, 2017, City Council adopted the Recreation and Parks Master Plan.

The City of Martensville Recreation and Parks Master Plan will be used to help guide the City in its decision-making and policy-setting regarding existing and future recreation infrastructure, parks, trails, programs and service.

To develop the plan, a number of research activities were conducted.  Input was gathered from students, councillors, former councilors/mayors, long-time residents, community group leaders, developers, recreation professional and administrators from surrounding centres.  Information was gathered via online and hard copy surveys and in person meetings.
