Payment Options
The City of Martensville accepts payments for utilities, property taxes, and select municipal services through different methods.

Cash, Debit or Cheque
Payments can be made at City Hall during regular business hours.
Cheques may also be placed in the secure drop box at City Hall during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Online Banking & Telepay
Please contact your bank for assistance in setting up online or phone payments.
Processing Time:
Payments may take 3–5 business days to be received by the City. Payments received after the due date due to processing delays will not have penalties waived.
Interac e-Transfer®
Same-day payments are accepted for utilities, property taxes, and other invoices.

The City is registered for Auto Deposit — no security question is required.
Important: Include payment details in the message field:

Note: e-Transfers are not accepted for recreation program registrations at this time.
TIPPS / WIPPS
Tax & Water Installment Payment Plan Service
Pre-authorized monthly payments are available. Late tax penalties do not apply to TIPPS participants.
Important: Forms must be received at least two weeks before the next payment date.
Dishonoured payments (NSF) are subject to a $30 service charge. After three returned payments, participation in the plan will be cancelled.
Credit Card Payments — OptionPay
The City uses OptionPay, a third-party payment provider, for credit card transactions online and at City Hall.
Services Available Through OptionPay
- Utility bills (Account Number required)
- Property taxes (Roll Number required)
- Accounts receivable invoices (Invoice Number required)
- Property statements (Tax Certificates, PID’s, BIA’s) — Full civic address required
- Criminal Record Checks — Full legal name required (ID and receipt needed at RCMP)

About OptionPay
- Are there additional fees?
Yes. OptionPay charges a tiered processing fee starting at $2.00 per transaction. These fees are paid directly to OptionPay, not the City. - Is my information secure?
OptionPay is a third-party provider. The City of Martensville is not responsible for security breaches or technical issues related to the use of this service. Users assume all risks associated with its use.
