The City of Martensville offers LifeSaving Society Swimming Lessons at the Martensville Aquatic Centre. Visit the link for additional information on classes and groupings.

Registration Information
- Online registration opens in early May and continues throughout spring and summer months
- In-person registration is available during regular business hours at the MAP
- Payment is required at the time of registration
Cancellation & Refund Policies
Recreational Program Guidelines
- 100% refund if the request is received 10 days or more before the program start date.
- 50% refund if the request is received within 10 days of the program start or after the program has started, but before 20% of it is complete.
- No refund will be issued after 20% of the program has been completed.
- A 100% refund will be issued if the program is cancelled by the Recreation & Community Services Department.
- A pro-rated refund will be issued under the following circumstances;
- Medical reasons (a medical certificate is required)
- Program class cancellations, where classes cannot be made up.
- Relocation outside of a 30 km radius of Martensville (proof of new address with individual’s name required)
Swimming Lesson Guidelines
Swimming lessons follow different guidelines due to their outdoor nature and weather dependancy.
- Classes will be cancelled if:
- Air temperature falls below 14o Celsius.
- Lightning is observed
- Thunder is heard
- Make-up classes or refunds will be offered as follows:
- For all 8 or 10-lesson sessions, if more than 2 classes are cancelled, a make-up class will be scheduled or refunded.
- For all 5-lesson sessions, if more than 1 class has been canceled, a make-up class will be rescheduled or refunded.
