Block Parties & Special Events

Block parties and special events are great ways to get to know our neighbours and build social connections in our community! Residents can also plan special events within city-owned park spaces or recreation facilities.

Prior to holding a block party or special event, be sure to fill out one of the following applications:

Applications should be submitted at least one month in advance of your event to receive formal approval. You must ensure all necessary permits and licenses in place prior to your party or event.
