The City of Martensville Recreation and Parks Master Plan will be used to help guide the City in its decision-making and policy-setting regarding existing and future recreation infrastructure, parks, trails, programs and services. 

To develop the plan, a number of research activities have been conducted. Input was gathered from students, councillors, former councillors/mayors, long time residents, community group leaders, developers, recreation professional and administrators from surrounding centres. Information was gathered via online and hard copy surveys and in person meetings.

On Tuesday June 20, 2017, City Council adopted the Recreation and Parks Master Plan.
