The Martensville Recreation Centre is now open, and we’re excited for you to join us in this new chapter for our city.
Bridging Martensville’s passion for sports, recreation, and community events, while celebrating the unique individuals, cultures, and groups that make this city special, the MRC is the result of a decade of dedication from volunteers, coaches, athletes, user groups and Indigenous communities.
Operated by Nustadia, the facility spans 145,000 square feet of space for running, playing, climbing, and cheering. It features a 900-seat arena, a leisure ice surface, indoor climbing wall, a lounge and concession, operated by Grub Hub, and so much more!
In early 2025, we’ll be finalizing the construction of the north side of the facility, featuring indoor batting cages and pitching tunnels, and a full indoor soccer pitch. This final stage will expand the range of year-round activities the youth in our community can access.
The MRC officially opened its doors on October 11, 2024 after a 22-month construction period. Supported by local fundraising, municipal funding, and contributions from the provincial and federal governments through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program, this project is a true testament to community collaboration
