Your Martensville Skatepark

We have worked with the Syrenne family to raise funds to build a skatepark in memory of Kyle Syrenne, an avid and accomplished skateboarder who grew up in Martensville, and who tragically lost his life in 2015.  The park had its 'soft' opening in October 2017 and the grand opening was celebrated at Buster Days 2018 which included the dedication, demonstrations and contests.

The skatepark is in beautiful Kinsmen Park. It offers a new user experience, provides the community and region with a modern facility for youth, and is a modern space where Martensville and region youth can meet and make new friends!

The hard surface park features a variety of plaza and modern obstacle features, a bowl suitable for all skill levels, connecting pathways, and feature entry signage.  It will be built to accommodate skateboarders, scooter riders and inline skaters. The design includes numerous safe and inviting viewing areas and locations for art installations and integrates natural boulder textures and a memorial sculpture for Kyle.
