Incentives for Development

The City of Martensville welcomes your business and wants to see you get off to a great start.  We offer a number of incentives that can assist your business or development to limit those early-stage risks and establish a firm footing.

Development Incentive Program- Aimed to encourage residential, commercial and industrial land development by offering tax abatements for the establishment of shovel-ready lots.

Economic Development Business Incentive Bylaw- Aimed at assisting new commercial or industrial construction, property owners can have taxes abated on the new construction (assessed improvements).  It can be applied to new ventures or expansions.  Abatement periods are contingent on investment amounts.
