  • Amazing Race Challenge

    The Amazing Race Challenge will be organized on the last Saturday of April.  We welcome all ages, individuals, and teams to partake in a day full of exciting indoor and outdoor challenges.          

  • Business Expo 

    The Martensville Business Expo is held each spring around the end of April or early May to showcase local businesses. 

    In addition to the Trade Show, floor special events and activities are integrated to make the show a feature in Martensville. Information on and Registration for the 2019 Show is now available.

  • Buster Days

    Buster Days is normally held the first weekend in June.  Each year this event gets bigger and bigger and activities run all weekend long!

    Buster Days activities vary year to year.  Past activities include:

  • Christmas Lights Contest 

    During the Christmas Lights Contest individuals can register their houses or nominate houses they think are beautifully decorated. Decorations will be judged on the following criteria: creativity, quantity, and colorfulness. The results will be announced right before Christmas – just in time for Santa to deliver your prize!

  • Disc Golf Tournament 

    With one of the nicest disc golf courses in Saskatchewan, we are excited to organize a disc golf tournament for all fans of the sport. This event takes place in September and is open to all ages. 

    We plan individual games as well as team games while players keep track of their own score using the honor system. We end the day with a pizza supper and prize giveaways. 

  • Geocaching 

    You can’t miss this exciting outdoor experience for all ages. 

    Geocaching is the real-world treasure hunt that’s happening right now, all around you. There are over 2,500,000 active geocaches and over 6 million geocacher's worldwide. 

    With a great response from our community, we will now bring geocaching events to Martensville twice a year: 

    1. in March/April for the Easter Egg Geocache Hunt and
    2. the first week of October for the major Geocaching Challenge

  • Made in Saskatchewan Tradeshow 

    This new spring tradeshow will take place at the end of March at the North Ridge Community Centre. A number of unique handcrafted & homemade products from a variety of local vendors will be available for fresh early spring shopping! 

    Only original vendors offering locally sourced products will be invited to truly reflect the spirit of our province!

  • Monster Garage Sale

    Monster Garage Sales are held each year, in May and September.

    Individuals can register their locations at the MAP or City Hall. The cost to register is $5. The address list and the City map are available for pick up at the various gas stations, the MAP, City Hall or online.

    As part of this event, we encourage local businesses to host sidewalk sales.

  • Play & Skate with Santa

    Play & Skate with Santa is held every December at the Sports Centre.  The event includes skating, sleigh rides, hot chocolate, and treat bags for the kids.  Admission is by donation and all proceeds go towards KidSport.

  • Roughrider Bus Trip

    Our annual Saskatoon RoughRider Bus Trip to Regina is a huge hit and sells out quickly each year!

    Costs usually run around $95/adult, $75/youth, and $65 per child.  This includes transportation, game ticket, lunch and supper, and prizes throughout the day.

  • Shopping Extravaganza

    Get started on your holiday shopping early!

    The Martensville Shopping Extravaganza is held each year in November at the North Ridge Centennial Community Centre.  Businesses from Martensville and surrounding areas display their crafts, baking, and products for sale.

  • Variety Night

    Each year in March, we host a Variety Night at Venture Heights School.

    Variety Night consists of performances from many of our City programs including Mini Moves, Ukrainian Dance, Karate, Hip Hop, Tap Dance and Rhythmic Gymnastics.

    It’s your chance to see what the youth in our community have been up to!

  • Winter FunFest

    Fun for the whole family!

    Our annual Winter FunFest is held on the first Saturday in February at the North Ridge Centennial Community Centre and Kinsmen Park.

    FunFest activities include:

    • Sleigh rides
    • Snowshoeing
    • Top shot hockey 
    • Skating
    • Tobogganing 
    • Face painting
    • Fish pond 
    • Clown show
    • Storytelling
    • Sno-pitch tournament
    • Bonfire & weiner roast

  • Wyant Group Raceway (A&W and NASCAR Events) 

    Wyant Group Raceway is located off Highway #12.

    The City of Martensville proudly supports Wyant Group Raceway events including the annual A&W 100 and the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Bayer Crop Sciences – Velocity Prairie Thunder 250.

  • Regional Run

    The Regional Run a unique race between the City of Martensville and the City of Warman, in collaboration with SREDA (Saskatchewan Regional Economic Development Authority, RM of Corman Park and Brainsport Saskatoon.

    A beautiful 10km route between two sister communities through the country is a great walk/run for anyone. Kicking off in one city and connecting to the other where a brunch and shuttle service is provided.

    Race day will start at 8:00am with a Community Breakfast at Prairie Oasis Park which will be open to all runners and members of the public. The race will start promptly at 9:30am in Prairie Oasis Park and finish in Martensville at Kinsmen Park. There will be a BBQ lunch offered in Kinsmen Park at 11:00am-1:00pm that will be open to the public as well. 

    We welcome participants to walk the route as well! There is a maximum of 3 hours to complete the race, so please be mindful of this time limit.

  • Culture Days

    The City of Martensville invites all community members to participate in Culture Days.  Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. Martensville Culture Days will offer organized events featuring free and interactive opportunities for the public to engage with culture.
