  • Last of Us- Escape Martensville

Congrats to Agents Nolan and Carter for saving Martensville!

As the fall returns to Martensville, the residents notice something strange happening to their neighbors and friends. Each day more and more people are going missing and returning as something else… something not human.

As you may already know City Council voted to allow a company called Zomtech, a covert biotechnology corporation, to build an underground laboratory in Martensville 3 years ago. The main objective was to enhance the city and get Martensville on the map as the safest place in the world. They embarked on an audacious experiment that has now plunged us into chaos. Their intentions were noble, or so they claimed - to create an unbeatable army, an impenetrable shield to safeguard our city’s security. However, the counselors’ reckless quest has triggered a zombie pandemic of unimaginable proportions, and the world outside is teeming with the undead.
As they try and fix the problem they started, City Council barricaded the remaining people in the city to try and stop the infection.

It has become clear that unless someone steps in, Martensville will be consumed by the zombies. You and your friends must try and figure out what is causing the infection and stop it by sorting through files, finding clues, and decrypting secret messages, you can find the answer and save the city.

Your first objective is clear: gain access to the main Zomtech laboratory. Deep within that labyrinthine structure, the secrets to the virus and perhaps a way to counteract its effect await your discovery. But the first challenge is finding the laboratory as only the undead know of it's true location.

The first clue will be available online or for pick up at the MAP on August 19.

A phone will be required to solve this mystery as you will need to use GPS and scan QR readers to progress.
