    Update on our Community- COVID-19

The City of Martensville, City of Warman, Dr. A. Adamus (Martensville Collective Health and Wellness) along with SHA met this morning to discuss developments in the recent rise in community transmission in Martensville.

Through the past week, measures were taken by the community as a whole to curb the recent spread.  This included measures by the  City for facilities and recreation spaces, by local businesses,  by sport and user groups around their respective activities, and of course every individual in following recommended practices.

SHA provided an update from  Medical Health Officer (Dr. Hasselback) that the volume of COVID in our community is still high, however, Public Health has noticed an incredible shift in cooperation with their teams which has resulted in improved investigations and will hopefully lead to better containment. They sent out a big congratulations for all the great work from our community this week.  No new changes were recommended but it is important to continue to be vigilant at this time.

Changes in the volume of cases will not be seen immediately but over the coming weeks.
