City Releases 2019 Report to the Community

Today the City of Martensville released its 2019 Report to the Community. The report provides information on the City’s performance the past year the areas of Governance, Culture, Social, Environment and Economy, the pillars of the community’s Municipal Sustainability Plan (MSP). The MSP guides the Administration’s departmental plans, goals and budgets.

“In 2019, our focus was on continuing to maintain and invest in infrastructure that ensures our residents can move around easily and safely,” said Kent Muench, Mayor of the City of Martensville. “We also spent a lot of time and energy on planning for the future, in particular in the areas of recreation and housing so that our younger families have the amenities they need to successfully raise their children, and our older residents can remain in our community as they age.”

Council thanks everyone at the City of Martensville who works hard all year to provide programs, services and initiatives that will ensure the community is a great place for everyone to live.

“Our vision is for Martensville is a community of families, friends, and neighbours who work, play, and grow together in a safe, active, and healthy environment, and I believe that is the community we live in today,” said Muench.
