City Hall Reopening to the Public, June 10th

City Hall will reopen to the public, tomorrow, June 10th, under regular business hours 9AM-5PM.  The health and safety of everyone is our top priority so there will be a number of precautions in place to ensure the safety of the public and staff and to continue to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within our community and province.

    What can you expect?

    • Extra cleaning and sanitation have been in place and will continue with this next stage of reopening.
    • Public access will be limited to the lobby area to carry out transactions.  Hand sanitizing stations will be set up and we ask to utilize the station prior to interacting with the staff.
    • Plexiglass barriers, directional tape, distancing markers or physical barriers will be in place to ensure physical distancing can remain in place
    • Publicly available materials, brochures, reading materials will be limited and in many cases be removed.
    • Council Meetings will continue to utilize an online platform for the foreseeable future due to physical distancing limitations in Council Chambers.  If you wish to attend a Council meeting please contact the City Clerk for details on how to participate.

    How can you help?

    • Only visit City Hall if necessary.  Continue to utilize convenient on-line and contact-less methods for transactions or any inquiries.  Contact us by phone at 306-931-2166 and staff will be pleased to assist and direct you accordingly.
    • Please do not visit City Hall if you are feeling unwell, experiencing flu-like symptoms or have been in contact with someone who is presumptive or tested positive for COVID-19.
    • Please do not visit City Hall if you have traveled abroad in the last 14 days.
    • Walk-in meetings are discouraged, please call ahead for an appointment if you are looking to meet with a department or simply look to contact them via phone, email, or our online platform, Report An Issue.
    • Please utilize hand sanitizing stations upon arriving and adhere to physical distancing measures that have been put in place
    • We encourage the use of debit payments where possible.  For large transactions consider contacting your bank prior to major payments to adjust debit limits.

We thank our residents for their understanding of the closure through the pandemic and for utilizing new ways of working with the City that include contact-less payment options, email and virtual meetings.  Your cooperation helped ensure that our community and those working in City Hall remained healthy and safe.

The City of Martensville looks forward to seeing and working with you again and we understand that things will be different for the time being.  We thank you again your continued understanding and cooperation.
