Amazing Race Martensville: May 1st, 2027

The Amazing Race is a family-friendly community event where teams of up to four take on exciting challenges designed to help you explore every corner of Martensville! We welcome all ages, individuals, and teams to join us for a fun-filled day of indoor and outdoor activities that will keep you moving, thinking, and discovering something new.

When: Saturday, May 1st | Team Registration: Opens April 5th, 9:00am Cost: $25 per team | Teams of 4 (vehicle required)

Race across Martensville in an epic adventure full of indoor & outdoor challenges – test your brain, body, and teamwork! Form your team, get ready to race, and let the adventure begin!

Fire Department Open House + Big Truck Petting Zoo!
Get ready for a BIG day of family fun! Alongside the Fire Department Open House, the City is hosting its SECOND Big Truck Petting Zoo

Kids (and kids at heart!) will have the chance to:

• Climb up and explore real trucks and machines you see around town
• Meet the Operators who drive them every day
• Ask questions and even sit inside some of the machines!

PLUS — don’t miss the Snowplow Naming Contest! Two of the City’s snowplows need names before winter, and your kids can help make it happen.

Buster Days 2027: June 4th-6th

Buster Days is Martensville’s annual community festival, held every June. It’s a three-day celebration featuring a parade, fireworks, family activities, sports tournaments, food vendors, markets, and special events for all ages. The festival has been a long-standing community tradition since 1985 and is organized with support from local volunteers, businesses, and organizations. It’s one of Martensville’s biggest weekends of the year, bringing residents together for fun, entertainment, and community pride.

We have both pre- Canada Day and Canada Day celebrations coming at you!

On June 30, join us for a free movie under the stars at the Kinsmen Park Ball Diamond Parking lot. Movie will start around 9/930 pm.

On July 1, come on down to the pool for some fun in the sun. There will be games, all Canadian music all day, games, and a contest for the best dressed.

Spring Monster Garage Sale – September 18 and 19

Registration: $5 (includes your address on the flyer, a Monster Garage Sale sign, and balloons!)

Join the Monster Garage Sale and turn your treasures into someone else’s new favorite finds! Flyers with a map of Martensville will be distributed at gas stations, the MAP, and City Hall. We’ll be advertising in local papers and on social media to make sure everyone knows where the monster deals are!

Register by Wednesday, September 16th online, at the MAP, or at City Hall. Don’t miss out, let’s make this the biggest, baddest garage sale of the season!

The Martensville Pickleball Tournament is back! Join us for a day of friendly competition and fun.

Date: Saturday, January 9th, 2027 Location: Martensville Athletic Pavilion (MAP) Registration: Opens in November at www.martensville.ca or call 306-683-5576

Format: • Round-robin, mixed doubles (no tiering) • Players register individually – partners and opponents change each game • Guaranteed 4 games per player • Top players advance to the finals

Divisions: • 54 & Under • 55+ • All Ages Advanced

The City of Martensville and the Martensville & District Kinettes are teaming up to bring you an unforgettable afternoon of holiday magic! Play & Skate with Santa will take place on Saturday, December 6th from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. Join us for: • Skating with Santa • Photos with the Big Guy in Red • Holiday games, treats, and cheer for all ages! Bundle up and bring the whole family for this heartwarming kickoff to the festive season!

Join us for the first-ever Splash, Pedal, Run Kids Triathlon in Martensville on August 30, 2026. The race will begin at Mocon Fields and finish at Kinsmen Park, near Cones! This exciting community event encourages kids to get active, have fun, and experience the thrill of a triathlon in a safe and supportive environment.
Parents can accompany their children along the race!

Race Details:
Participants will be divided into the following age categories:
Ages 3–5
Ages 6–8
Ages 9–12

Each athlete will complete a:
500 m run
25 m swim
600 m bike ride

The race will start at 10:00 AM with check-in taking place at 9:30 AM prior to the race. More details to come.

For the registration fee of $15 per child, participants will receive:
Finishing medal
Race bib
Post-event snacks

All proceeds will go directly to support Warman, Martensville, and Area KidSport.
